BOX OFFICE ASSOCIATES

Olney Theatre Center is currently looking for part-time Box Office Associates to provide a high level of service to our patrons. Customer service is our number one priority; therefore the box office strives to have a fun but professional atmosphere. Primary responsibilities will include selling tickets, handling ticket exchanges, and answering any questions about our theaters and shows. Other duties (such as troubleshooting and collecting/organizing patron information) may be assigned as needed. HOUSE MANAGERS

Olney Theatre Center now seeking part-time House Managers. Responsibilities include supervising front of house operations during shows, managing concessions and ushering staff, and interacting with patrons in order to efficiently and professionally resolve any issues. Ideal candidates will have management experience and some familiarity with theater. These positions are paid hourly wages that begin at $9. RUN CREW

Olney is always looking for motivated individuals to fill various Run Crew positions for upcoming productions. We are collecting resumes for Light Board Operators, Follow Spot Operators, Sound Engineers, Backstage Crew, and Wardrobe Crew. Strong communication and people skills required. Knowledge of technical theater, ability to multi-task, and handle an extremely fast-paced environment also necessary. Dedication to the theater arts and previous experience with running crew required. These are part time positions on a show by show basis. SCENIC CHARGE

Olney Theatre is accepting resumes for a full-time Scenic Charge to work an intermittent schedule for a year round active production company. Three years of professional and/or academic experience preferred. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of a variety of painting techniques and ability to work with materials such as foam, scrim, fabric, metal, and wood. The Scenic Charge also works with the Properties Artisan to accomplish painting of properties when necessary. Bachelor degree preferred. Salary mid 20s/benefits included/transitional housing negotiable. This position is an anchor job for career start-up in a demanding market.
